UCREW | CCIM University Outreach is a program in collaboration with CCIM, CREW Network Foundation and the CREW Network chapters to help college students find opportunities and develop their skills in commercial real estate. Representatives from various sectors in the Commercial Real Estate Industry will provide insight into their career path and answer questions about their respective fields.

Moderator

Kelly began her career in commercial real estate over 25 years ago in architecture and design. Her passion for great design and ability to build relationships lead her to becoming a principal and owner at Ware Malcomb. At Ware Malcomb she oversaw the Northern California team in addition to leading the largest accounts in the company.

Shiloe Bear brings a unique, hands-on approach to real estate. As the founder of Creek Development, she has completed 63 commercial redevelopment projects and 5 land entitlement plays in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Helen Chong, CCIM, is the CEO of HAYLEN Real Estate, a firm specializing in both residential and commercial properties in the Bay Area. With a highly respected reputation, Helen has served in the NorCal CCIM Chapter leadership since 2014, including two terms as President in 2020 and 2021.

Ron Cruz, joined The Econic Company in 2023, bringing a data-driven and algorithmic approach to advising clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.

Mylanie Ventanilla is a seasoned Project Manager at IA Interior Architects, leading ground-up retail projects across the nation. With over 15 years of industry experience, Mylanie’s passion for hands-on learning and collaboration drives her work
